Nope, classic 909 snare texture layed on top of one or two other snare samples. Off the top of my head, the Reason sound bank refers to it as the "tressor" snare. The beatbox technique to make a similar sound is going to be a BMG or PF snare, internet will have tutorials to watch if your not familiar with them sounds. I have a really easy time with PF snares, not so much BMG. Crispy lip snares D':
